Angela Chang Consulting has provided leading edge custom designed workshops or consultancies to some of Australia's pre-eminent projects to China. In addition Angela has presented at, or provided highly interactive public workshops for The China International Mining Group of Austcham, Beijing, The Royal Australian Institute of Architects NSW & Victorian Chapters, Australian Tourism Export Council, The University of Sydney’s Research Institute of Asia and the Pacific, Sydney Mining Club, Keymedia, Legalwise, THC Conferences, the Australian Chamber of Manufactures and International Association of Business Communicators.
Her articles on the impact of ‘differences’ in business practices have been published in ‘Access China’, AustCham Shanghai’s ‘Cooee’, AustCham Beijing, and Guangzhou newsletters, the International Association of Business Communicators’ Journal and on the AseanFocus web site. Her work necessarily includes ongoing research and detailed analyses.
Angela was the lecturer, on International Business Negotiations–China in the Masters of Commerce program at the University of NSW in Sydney in 2004. She was also recently part of a team working on the Business Communication, Practice and Ethics course in the Masters of Commerce program at the same university.
Before starting ANGELA CHANG CONSULTING 12 years ago, Angela was a management and adult educator, working for the NSW Government in communication and culture projects as well as in English as a second language (ESL) training. This included 6 years in organizational or staff development projects, in NSW workplaces.
We have a small group of international specialist associates located internationally as well as in China or in Australia, who augment our own specific China services. Our associates include expert functionalists as well as experts in doing business in other specific cultures.

Angela was born and educated in Australia. She has a Master of Arts from the Faculty of Adult Education University of Technology, Sydney.
Angela has been visiting China regularly since 1979 and lived in Shanghai, and worked as a ‘foreign expert’ at the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in 1991 & 1993, teaching English business communication.
She now regularly visits China’s eastern sea board cities on assignments, for ongoing research and to maintain her established friendships & networks. She is Mandarin speaking to para-professional interpreter level. Angela also speaks French.
